Ensemble Mik Nawooj is a composer ensemble that performs the innovative music of composer/pianist JooWan Kim who injects Western European Classical compositional techniques into such genres as hip-hop, rock & pop. Featuring a 6-piece chamber orchestra, 2 MCs, deep funk drums and a lyric soprano, the group has been featured on ABC 7, MTV, NBC, NPR, The New Yorker & more.
It was 2p.m in Sunday, 9 August 2015. I was playing omegle with "Korean" topic on it.
I kept skipping people but stopped when I found a korean guy who has a long black hair as my interlocutors. I really like a long haired guy, it gives me a 'cool' view of them. An artist? musician? yes that's my opinion of a long haired guy.
I don't know if it's okay for me to write an article like this in my blog kkkk, it seems like a diary, uh? But yeah! That was cool! I didn't recognize who was he before he told me to open a link which led me to Ensemble Mik Nawooj C.R.E.A.M video in youtube after of course we have quite a long chat. I know he now stays in US, but yes he came from Korea. Even I got his height info and how long time he needed to lengthen his hair like that. 172cm and needed more two years, hahah.. And yes! He was there in the video!
And I was maybe put on a surprised expression? I don't know precisely what kind of faces I showed when I caught him were there being a part of the video. And I asked him, "are you a model?" "singer?" "you know~ you were in the video!!" *giggle*
And he just laughed (he was really kind and friendly guy in my thought) and wrote back
"no, I'm a song writer." We continued chat for a while but seems like he was busy so we let go of each other and yea it's end there..
After that day, I can't stop listening to that music till now. The music's really catchy and good in my ears. It's my first time I think liking hip hop song. They really did a good job, a good music, and good video. If you haven't, you should check it too!!
